Overview

Job Purpose

The Market Data Administration team at NYSE is responsible for the contractual lifecycle of equity data products including licensing, billing, and ensuring customer compliance of data subscriptions. The business analyst is an entry level position primarily responsible for assisting the compliance team with analytic reviews of NYSE's customers and their use of market data, as well as supporting other members of the Market Data team. The ideal candidate should be a strong self-motivator and multi-tasker, have strong data analytical capabilities, curious in nature and must be willing to learn the market data business.

Responsibilities

  • Research customer information based on defined attributes, document results into profiles and templates to assist with the audit process.
  • Assist with data analysis on customer data access, reporting, revenue assessment, and other market intelligence.
  • Document standard practices and processes, including maintaining documentation and records of audit details.
  • Assist in communication with customers.
  • Support internal market data team on projects and strategic initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a field that demonstrates analytical disciplines.
  • 1+ year work experience or internship in a similar environment or role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively analyze processes and data.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Must have high levels of curiosity, be self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with strong Excel skills required.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 78,100 - 125,100 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
