Summary:

The Workforce Development Coordinator is an important piece of the HR Department. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the company and outside organizations, the Workforce Development Coordinator assists with day-to-day execution of multiple workforce development program events/activities, including logistical requirements for ongoing programs and related events. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position.

 

Five Key Roles of the Workforce Development Coordinator:

  • Coordinates day-to-day execution of workforce development program events/activities, including logistical requirements for ongoing programs and related events.
  • Serve as primary point of contact with external partners/vendors at assigned events and related logistical event requirements.
  • Manages program schedule, maintains, and updates database of relevant events, vendors, and contacts.
  • Gathers data / monitors program goals and metrics and provides progress reports on program effectiveness.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, conduct new hire orientation for assigned populations, and provide support and follow up throughout their first 90 days.

     

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as point of contact at program events with external stakeholders and organizations.
  • Tracks program results and related metrics to ensure effectiveness.

``` - Implements project plans for assigned workforce development program events/activities, including managing schedules and determining resources to ensure timely project completion.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
