Town of Sunset Beach is seeking qualified applicants for the Human Resources Director position.

Responsibilities: The Director is responsible for the management of the human resources functions for the Town of Sunset Beach. Emphasis of the work is on defining operating policies and procedures and administering a municipal human resources program for employee recruitment, selection and retention; employee relations; management and staff development; equal employment opportunities; classification and pay; process payroll and required reporting to federal and state agencies; administer employee benefits; performance review and merit pay; policy development; personnel records; and employee safety.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree in human resources, public administration, business administration, or other field of study related to the nature of the work performed; a Masters degree is preferred, but not required.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible and broadbased professional experience in governmental or private industry human resource management.

Salary range: $60,759 - $91,138. Salary based on experience and qualifications.
