Position Overview

Work Location: Ontario County

Schedule: M-F 40 hours/wk with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of maintenance services on a routine and as‑needed basis including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, snow removal, grounds upkeep, and mechanical services. Completes work orders promptly, based on the urgency of the need.

  • Meets regularly with the Facilities Manager to review work needs and schedule repairs.

    Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.

  • Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair.

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years experience in general maintenance, building trades or custodial services or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience.

  • Must possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
