PS Lifestyle/PS Salon & Spa is the foremost Senior Community Living operators in the country with over 1300 locations in 37 states and growing. Our corporate support office located in Cleveland, OH is looking for an Inventory and Product Ordering Specialist to join our team Full Time. This position will work 40 hours a week with a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. Compensation is Hourly; 17-19 dollars per. Entry level position with training available but any inventory experience (restaurant, retail, salon, etc..) preferred.

Daily monitoring individual salon supply portals, reviewing the supply orders that are pending approval by comparing the pending order to services that were performed in SF, V3 or BI and also the salon menu. If the supplies look to be in-line with the services that were completed & match with what is offered on the salon menu-the specialist will approve the order, the distributor receives, packs and ships. If some of the supplies do not match what was being done in the salon, or the quantity was too much or we don’t offer this service on the salon menu, the specialist will adjust the quantity or remove it all together.

  • Inventory Control : Monitoring the overall inventory levels to ensure that they are neither too high, leading to unnecessary costs, nor too low, resulting in stockouts and missed sales opportunities.

  • Ordering and Procurement : Placing and approving orders with employees to replenish inventory based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.

  • Inventory Analysis : Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. This includes identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory and implementing strategies to minimize losses.

  • Coordination : Collaborating with other departments such as sales, operations, and finance to ensure alignment between inventory management activities and overall business objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement : Continuously seeking ways to improve inventory management processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Supporting other functions in the company as requested/required.
