Position Information
This position will remain open until filled. First round resume review will take place during the week 5/20 and interviews will be scheduled for chosen qualified candidates. Resume review will continue weekly past the 5/20 date and again interviews will be schedule for chosen qualified candidates
Job Definition
Works cooperatively with and in support of the Accounting Manager, the Plant and Other Accounts Receivable team to ensure the effective management of active work order portfolios and financial information processing, by partnering with District departments, acting as a liaison between various operational departments and Finance. Facilitates, expedites, assists, trains, and validates various accounting functions initiated by other departments including opening/closing work orders, creating/retiring assets, and billing/payment requests. Contributes to delivering research, analysis and problem resolution, ensuring the timely and accurate processing and maintenance of financial transactions, sub ledgers and financial reporting. Maintains the District’s core values and strategic priorities, in particular responsible cost and fiscal management.
Experience/Education
Operations Accounting Analyst II: $70,803 – $88,504
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field;
OR
- Two (2) years of progressively more responsible bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience.
Operations Accounting Analyst III: $79,300 – $99,132
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field;
OR
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, AND
Two (2) years of progressively more responsible bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience;
OR
- Four (4) years of progressively more responsible bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience.
