About the role:

The Global Corporate Functions Veralto Enterprise System Leader (VESL) is responsible for driving continuous improvement in Videojet’s Finance, IT, Legal and HR global organizations. As the process expert, this role leverages VES culture and tools to optimize and operationalize each functions’ Standard Work Playbook. The Global Corporate Functions VESL is a “chief-of-staff” to Finance, IT, Legal, and HR leaders by helping guide their teams in strategizing and executing critical initiatives.

This position is part of the Global VESL team, reporting to the Global Vice President of VES, with a strong dotted-line reporting to the CFO, CIO, General Counsel, and VP of HR. The role is hybrid with an expectation to be in-office (Wood Dale, IL) or at “gemba” (e.g. visiting corporate sites globally) a minimum of 3 days/week.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with each functional leader to set strategic objectives and plans for deployment, including a roadmap that lays out how each function will achieve their annual and long-term goals

  • Create and maintain a kaizen activity funnel, including prioritization based on impact and resource demand, by identifying areas of waste and opportunities for efficiency and growth

  • Manage the deployment of corporate initiatives with proper change management to ensure awareness, knowledge, adoption, execution, and sustainment

  • Provide VES tool training and kaizen event facilitation within corporate functions, Videojet, and Veralto

  • Using the VES Maturity Assessment, identify functions’ gaps in their use of VES, and own the action plan to drive VES proficiency

  • Partner with Global VESL team to develop and own the Corporate Functions Certified Practitioner/Trainer (CP/CT) funnel; facilitate associates’ progression through regular meeting cadences

  • Guide problem solving and drive process improvement with VES tools including:

  • Daily Management (DM)

  • Problem Solving (PSP)

  • Value Stream Mapping (VSM)

  • Transactional Process Improvement (TPI)

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in Operations, Commercial, Engineering, or related field; 3+ years of Leadership experience preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of continuous improvement techniques and methodologies

  • Experience in administering training and/or facilitation preferred

  • Travel Requirement: 25%-50% including domestic and international travel
