Volt is immediately hiring Sit down Forklift Operator in* Portland, OR*
As a Forklift Operator you will:
- Use a sit down, pallet jacks to load/unload trucks in warehouse.
- Transport inventory via forklift and other warehouse equipment to and from the loading/unloading/staging areas.
- Accurately pick merchandise/inventory from warehouse locations/racking using forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks
- Perform general warehouse duties and operate equipment.
- Operate safely, adhering to all OSHA and site- specific standards.
Requirement:
- 6 months+ recent forklift operation, specifically with sit down experience
- Ability to consistently lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk/stand for entire shift.
- Available to work weekends and occasional overtime
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirement.
- Ability to successfully pass a safety forklift certification test at customer site.
This is a full-time Contract opportunity.
Schedule: 2nd shift 2:30 pm-1 am
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Range: $ 18 to $19.50 per hour.
