The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for planning, monitoring, review, and evaluation of the annual budget cycle including development and communication of the budget schedule as well as ensuring compliance with that schedule, adherence to milestones, and timely execution of deliverables supporting the Corporate Leadership Team, CEO, and Board Committees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of equivalent experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related discipline preferred

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in financial planning & analysis, audit, accounting, or budgeting in highly regulated or highly analytic corporate environment is required.

  • Insurance or healthcare industry accounting experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of ledger, sub ledger and third-party software interfacing concepts required.

  • Knowledge of GAAP and experience in complex accounting processes and analysis required.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.

  • Experience with Adaptive Insights (Workday) is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and with outside vendor relationships to perform problem resolution or proactively explore process improvements.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in an analytical capacity on budget and financial planning concepts.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple assignments with deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
