DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities
* Identifying the material needs of the organization.
* Placing orders with suppliers.
* Ensuring timely delivery of materials.
* Returning non-conforming materials.
* Resolving invoice discrepancies.
* Identifying and resolving key shortages or excess inventory.
Qualifications
Must have experience using a computer based materials resource planning and / or enterprise resource planning system such as JDE and MXP.
* Proficient Microsoft Office - Excel and Word.
* 1-3 years purchasing or buying experience in manufacturing environment.
