About the role
The Service Truck Operator is part of the Surface Services team. He/she is responsible for operating service trucks, such as tampers, concrete mixers, 25-ton trucks, etc., required for surface services operations.
Essential Duties
Moving machinery with a fardier
Move cyanide trailers
Drive 25-ton truck during civil engineering work
Move passengers by bus between airport and camp
Diesel fuel distribution with tanker truck for fixed and mobile equipment
Support to airport operations for fuelling, de-icing and baggage loading/unloading
Site management of contaminated materials and shipment to treatment sites
Ensure proper operation of equipment through periodic mechanical inspection
Complete various daily and weekly logs.
Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly in terms of health and safety.
Keep the workplace clean and safe at all times.
Report all incidents/accidents to supervisor
Participate in ongoing training program to improve best practices
All tasks related to the performance of duties
Training & Experience
Vocational diploma in heavy machinery operation or more than 2 years' relevant experience
Valid Class 1 driver's license
Bilingualism, French and English (an asset)

Working Conditions
Work schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days of rest
Éléonore mining site (return flights from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
