JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Rhinelander/Oneida County Airport is seeking a full-time Airport Operations Specialist. The 2024 hourly wage is \$33.41, plus an excellent fringe benefit package. One-year probationary period. This is skilled work in the maintenance of the Airports buildings, facilities, vehicles, and grounds. Performs maintenance duties in accordance with established routines and accepted maintenance practices. Performs building maintenance duties including plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks; maintains airport vehicles; and maintains airport grounds and pavements. A supervisor randomly reviews work in progress, inspects completed work. The supervisor determines work assignments by the overall appearance and upkeep of the buildings, facilities, and grounds. A supervisor may give oral or written work assignments that vary from normal routine. A person in this position also is required to train on aircraft rescue and fire fighting equipment and to respond in the case of an actual emergency. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must possess a high school degree or equivalent technical school training that specializes in industrial arts or building trades, or gasoline and diesel mechanics, four years experience in building trades fields or maintenance, and possession of, or ability to obtain, a CDL driver\'s license. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Other: Complete job description and required application are available for Operations Specialist at www.oneidacountywi.gov.
