About Our Client:

Our client isRochester Institute of Technology (RIT).This is apart-time (20 hrs/wk),on-site positionand thecontractis expected to last3-4 months with a possibility of anextension depending on the project. The pay rate is$17/hr, with flexible hours betweenMonday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The perfect candidate will have at least1 year experiencein programming and have computer knowledge with SWIFT.

Job Responsibilites:

Apple App Developer is expected to support essential tasks for the RxASL within Deaf Hub, which include but are not limited to:

  • Possess knowledge of Swift programming language required (i.e. programmer portfolio)

  • Collect user requirements, recommend design elements, and build navigation components

  • Provide support in the conceptualization, design, development, testing, and building of projects and apps and ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and user-friendly

  • Conduct usability study to improve interactivity of projects and apps

  • Create and provide documentations for completed projects and apps

  • Assist research faculty in data management, survey creation, study recruitment, and document preparation

  • Assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Experience working with SWIFT

  • Experience working with Apple

  • Computer knowledge

  • Programming knowledge

  • Organization skills

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 per hour
