General Purpose of the Job
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is an integral member of the IT Finance
organization with key deliverables that provide frequent exposure to the
DaVita IT leadership team. The SFA is responsible for direct ownership of
financial modeling, financial reporting, executive presentations and ad
hoc analysis to support DaVita IT's segments and functions. The role will
consist of accountabilities in financial and operational management,
strategy and executive level presentations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial and Operational Management:
Prepare annual operating plan (budget) and monthly reforecast for IT G&A
and Capital expenses.
Track capital expenditures and return on capital investments.
Continuously improve financial model structure and capabilities to support
operating plan and forecasting process.
Develop multi-year forecast for DaVita IT functions through understanding
business drivers, modeling and cross-functional partnership with business
leaders.
Monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and
externally.
Support the month-end close process: executive financial package, variance
research/explanation, actualizing models, and various reporting dashboards.
Strategy:
Partner with the segment business leaders on operational and strategic issues
as they arise; provide strategic recommendations to VP and Director based on
financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation,
and revenue/expense analysis.
Engage cross functional leaders to align financial management with short- and
long-term financial planning and projections.
Develop a strong understanding of healthcare economics to provide critical
insights to support and/or drive business decisions.
Executive Level Presentations:
Assist in the preparation of executive presentations, including Monthly
Financial Reviews, and other presentations for key stakeholders in DaVita IT
team.
Prepare insightful presentations for senior management to concisely summarize
performance targets and progress toward initiatives by individual business
units.
Position Qualifications
Extensive experience creating and maintaining complex financial models.
Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting,
control, and reporting. Oracle, Anaplan, Essbase experience
(preferred). Experience in Excel VBA / Macros (preferred). Strong
understanding of GAAP Principles as they relate to capital vs operational
expenses. Demonstrated success in effectively communicating and presenting
information to senior leadership as well as the external community.
Demonstrated experience in financial modeling (expense analysis,
integrated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow) (preferred).
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree required.
Master's degree (preferred).

Salary/ Wage Range$68,400.00-$100,400.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a
candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may
