Job Opening: Sr. Validation Engineer

VTI Life Sciences (VTI) is seeking forward-thinking and ambitious engineers looking to accelerate their career in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. We are looking to hire a full-time Senior Validation Engineer to assist with a large-scale, production suite expansion project with our pharmaceutical client in the Greater San Diego area.  

Responsibilities:

• Draft lean URS/DQ/SPEC documents for the expansion project

• Assist with design work and help grow this into a full-scale qualification project

• Eventual commissioning, qualification, and validation of the production suite.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant validation engineer experience

• BA/BS in Engineering or Life Sciences

• 7+ years of relevant FDA regulated industry experience

• Knowledge of cGMP, good documentation practices and other regulatory standards

• Exceptional technical writing, review and analytical skills

• Familiarity with ASTM and ASME standards

• Full CQV Qualification experience

• Experience with Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)

• Excellent teamwork skills communication and problem-solving skills

SALARY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $110,000 - $125,000 ANNUALLY FOR A W2 EMPLOYEE
