Job Opening: Material Handler - Day Shift

Adecco Staffing is working with a high-level manufacturing facility in Bossier City, LA. We are looking to hire production candidates such as Material Handlers, Machine Operators, and Assemblers. These positions are a temp-to-hire opportunity.

3rd Shift: 6am - 2:30 pm - Monday - Friday

Pay Rate $14.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Performs assembly functions safely and efficiently using hand tools, mechanical equipment, and/or measuring equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficient in at least one functional area of Assembly such as Build, scribe, pack etc.

• Read, reference, and interpret written and verbal instructions to assemble products as directed, adhering to quality standards. Maintain established production levels through safe and efficient operations.

• Inspect & identify any irregularities as to fits, defective parts, finishes, work techniques and/or quality of workmanship, and report them to the assigned leader.

• Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations.

• Move materials, parts, and containers as required, to complete job duties.

Job Skills & Abilities:

• Read, reference, and interpret written and verbal instructions, including drawings and specification sheets -

• Must be able to read a tape measure and complete general mathematical calculations/conversions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Dexterity in hands

• May require standing, walking, bending, reaching, grabbing, twisting, carrying, pushing, and pulling

• Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

• Must be able to pass drug and background checks

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
