Statement of Purpose Coordinates and administers clinical care in the
ambulatory setting for a wide range of patients under the direction of
the Cardiologist. You will act as a staff person in the office,
assisting in administrative duties, patient care & patient education,
works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining
professional practice standards in the physician office setting and
always striving to meet the goals of the clinic and North Country
Hospital.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information
in the EMR.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone,
maintaining records, scheduling patients, and filing.
- Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering
and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and
orderly environment.
- May document the provider\'s encounter with patients. Lists all
proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and
prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. Transcribes patient
orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
