We are looking to add a team member in our warehouse, where you would get the opportunity to learn products and become and integral part of the Firemaster family.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate will join our warehousing team and contribute by receiving and stocking supplies received from manufacturers, picking building supplies from inventory, and loading trucks with orders to be delivered to customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement warehouse best practices to ensure effective utilization of warehouse space.
  • Unloading materials from manufacturers' trucks.

``` - Staging materials for future installation. - Stocking and picking materials in warehouse. - Loading materials onto delivery trucks for transport to customers. - Operate Forklift throughout warehouse. - Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.

``` - Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. - Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits. - Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to implement and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, sales team, and outside customers.
  • Understanding of inventory control procedures.
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

``` - Ability to perform basic math calculations. - Must be insurable by company's insurance program to drive company vehicles.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift large, bulky, and heavy objects.

``` - Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low, with assistance as necessary. - Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled settings. - Occasional working at heights (use of ladders/high lifts).
