    Summary

    Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This position manages all aspects of the department, including recruitment, staffing, budgeting and financial management, program development and client services and retention. Develops, maintains and services contracts with area businesses, community agencies and schools to deliver Employee and Student Assistance Services. Manages and develops professional team members in order to provide high quality assessment, referral and brief counseling services for EAP/SAP clients. Develops and maintains rapport with key contacts of client companies. Develops and presents community and corporate workshops, seminars and informational presentations as requested.

    Education

Must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or related field. Substance abuse treatment training is highly preferred. If Master's degree is in Nursing, must have an MSN from an accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)

Licensure/Certification

Must hold EAP certificate or LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, APRN, PhD or PsyD.

Experience

Must have at least five years of supervisory /management experience. Demonstrated leadership qualities through experience and/or work history. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mental health or EAP field. Must have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Other Qualifications

Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.
