- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Traffic/Transportation Engineering or closely related field
- EIT is required
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Active involvement in professional societies desirable.
- Analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
- An attitude and commitment to participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.
- Traffic engineering/planning experience with New York/New Jersey agencies, or equivalent DOT experience required.
Preferred qualifications
- MS preferred.
- PE or AICP
- Programming skills/exposure (VBA, Python, Javascript), ArcGIS a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, AutoCAD or Microstation, HCS, Synchro, Vissim, Aimsun a plus
- 5+ years traffic engineering/transportation planning experience.
- Candidates who reside locally are preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $104,794 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
