Work Location:This position will be based at our Bethany, MO location.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Purpose:Evaluate,authorize,orrecommendapprovalofagricultural,commercial,realestate,orconsumer loans.Adviseborrowers onfinancialstatusandpaymentmethods.Includesmortgageloanofficersandagents,collectionanalysts,loanservicing officers, and loan underwriters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyzeapplicants'financialstatus,credit,andpropertyevaluationstodeterminefeasibilityofgrantingloans.
• Obtainandcompilecopiesofloanapplicants'credithistories,corporatefinancialstatements,andotherfinancial information.
• Meetwithapplicantstoobtaininformationforloanapplicationsandtoanswerquestionsabouttheprocess.
• Explaintocustomersthedifferenttypesofloansandcreditoptionsthatareavailable,aswellasthetermsof those services.
• Reviewloanagreementstoensurethattheyarecompleteandaccurateaccordingtopolicy.
• Approveloanswithinspecifiedlimits,andreferloanapplicationsoutsidethoselimitstomanagementfor approval.
• Handlecustomercomplaintsandtakeappropriateactiontoresolvethem.
• Setcreditpolicies,creditlines,proceduresandstandardsinconjunctionwithseniormanagers.
• Stayabreastofnewtypesofloansandotherfinancialservicesandproductstobettermeetcustomers'needs.
• Reviewandupdatecreditandloanfiles.
• Submitapplicationstocreditanalystsforverificationandrecommendation.
• Computepaymentschedules.
• Conferwithunderwriterstoaidinresolvingmortgageapplicationproblems.
• Marketbankproductstoindividualsandfirms,promotingbankservicesthatmaymeetcustomers'needs.
• Workwithclientstoidentifytheirfinancialgoalsandtofindwaysofreachingthosegoals.
• Negotiatepaymentarrangementswithcustomerswhohavedelinquentloans.
• Analyzepotentialloanmarketsanddevelopreferralnetworkstolocateprospectsforloans.
• Preparereportstosendtocustomerswhoseaccountsaredelinquent,andforwardirreconcilableaccountsfor collector action.
• Providespecialservicessuchasinvestmentbankingforclientswithmorespecializedneeds.
• Arrangeformaintenanceandliquidationofdelinquentproperties.
• Petitioncourtstotransfertitlesanddeedsofcollateraltobanks.

Qualifications:

• BachelorsdegreeinEconomics,Financeorsimilarareaisusefulbutnotrequired.
• Fiveyearssalesexperienceinlendingorbanking.
• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,includingabilitytoeffectivelycommunicatewithinternaland external customers.
• Excellentcomputerproficiency(MSOffice-Word,ExcelandOutlook).
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Working Conditions:

• Thisjoboperatesinaclericalofficesetting.Thisroleroutinelyusesstandardofficeequipmentsuchas computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Requirements:

• Thispositionrequiresmanualdexterity,theabilitytoliftfilesandopenfilingcabinets.Thispositionrequires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
• AbilitytosafelyandsuccessfullyperformtheessentialjobfunctionsconsistentwiththeADA,FMLAandother federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Abilitytomaintainregular,punctualattendanceconsistentwiththeADA,FMLAandotherfederal,stateand local standards.
• Mustbeabletotalk,listenandspeakclearlyontelephone.
