Responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the loan operations function. Meets strict deadlines while preparing all consumer loan documentation. Assists Bank staff with all loan operations related questions. <LI> Scans loan files to Synergy; index and review scanned files <LI> Prepares all re-disclosure loan estimates <LI> Ensures compliance by processing new installment loans and notes within in strict deadline requirements <LI> Assists Loan Underwriters with preparations for closings, including contacting attorneys and insurance companies as necessary <LI> Prepares preliminary commitment and closing documents via Onboard loans and MortgageBot <LI> Puts through debit/credit entries and closes files <LI> Assists with loan application processing including ordering flood certifications, credit bureau reports and GEO coding <LI> Prepares a variety of letters and forms including adverse action letters for declined loans, insurance disclosure and acknowledgment forms, verification of deposit, verification of employment forms, attorney referrals, title insurance requests and tax and title searches <LI> Inputs system changes for all mortgage modifications <LI> Compiles various reports including ARM index update, HMDA review, ARM HELOC disclosures. Reviews new loan set-ups <LI> Assembles mortgage files when received in Loan Operations <LI> Reviews files for missing docs, correct rate, program information and supporting documentation <P>Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <LI> Meets or exceeds productivity and accuracy goals <LI> Participates, as necessary, to ensure department responsibilities are completed on time <LI> Maintains a working knowledge of all applicable software, systems and equipment <LI> Promotes a positive team environment <LI> Participates in creating operating efficiencies <LI> May provide guidance and training to other Loan Operations Representatives <LI> Performs other duties as assigned <P>Education and/or Experience: <LI> A high school diploma or equivalent required <LI> 6-12 months related experience normally preferred (Retail sales, customer service and cash handling) <LI> Completion of the Principles of Banking course between the first and third year of employment
