This small business provides planning and coordination services for the MV Housing and Homeless Coalition (CoC NY-518) that serves Utica, Rome, Oneida and Madison Counties. Social Science Associates also does social research and program evaluation work. The Coordinated Entry System (CES) Manager is responsible for the implementation of an effective and efficient coordinated entry system throughout the Mohawk Valley Housing and Homeless Coalitions entire geography including Utica/Rome/Oneida & Madison Counties. Under the direction of the Mohawk Valley Housing and Homeless Coalitions Governance Board of Directors and Coordinated Entry Continuous Improvement Advisory Committee, the CES Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the CES, ensuring that stakeholders share a common understanding of coordinated entry system goals and priorities. The CES Manager builds relationships to deliver a Coordinated Entry system that results in making homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the homeless service system and HUD Continuum of Care structure, policy and regulations, a passion for ending homelessness using a Housing First philosophy, a proven track record of leading high impact strategies and teams, and effectively leveraging and garnering the collaborative engagement of diverse stakeholders throughout the community. This is a highly visible position in our community and there is an opportunity to move into more senior planning and management positions as our CoC continues to grow in the years ahead. Work collaboratively with CoC planning staff, Homeless Management Information System staff, the CoCs Board of Directors, and other CoC key stakeholders to lead and execute a high performing and accessible coordinated entry system throughout the entire CoC geography. Educational Requirements: An associates (2-year) degree in a human service field and 5 or more years of experience working with populations that are challenged with obtaining or maintaining permanent housing (e.g. those fleeing domestic violence, veterans, people struggling with behavioral health disabilities, etc.) A bachelors degree in a human service field with 2 or more years of experience working with populations that are challenged with obtaining or maintaining permanent housing (e.g. those fleeing domestic violence, veterans, people struggling with behavioral health disabilities, etc.) A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with 1 or more years of experience working with populations that are challenged with obtaining or maintaining permanent housing (e.g. those fleeing domestic violence, veterans, people struggling with behavioral health disabilities, etc.) **Complete job description can be found at: http://www.mvhomeless.org
