Job Opening: Carpenter

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is actively seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters for various projects throughout Richmond VA. The ideal candidates will be allaround carpenters with experience in nearly every aspect of Commercial construction, work expertly and efficiently to assemble and erect frameworks, install flooring, windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, and more.

The pay rate for this job is $25 - $28 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and understand construction plans and specifications

• Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fit and finish

• Install and assemble frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes

• Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient project completion

• Perform general carpentry duties, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing

• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Carpenter Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and techniques

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

• Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment

• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
