Job Opening: Developer Employment Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Job Developer/Employment Specialist is the associate business developer for the community employment team. Responsible for providing various job preparation activities, along with focused job development and placement services for youth and adults with diverse abilities. Service options include: building relationships with area employers to seek out and develop job openings, preparing individuals for the job search and providing adequate follow-up services for participants once placed in the community and collaborating with training team to ensure proper support is provided for successful career advancement of those served. The ability to multi-task is required to successfully achieve all service expectations. Performs all duties in conformance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations and guidelines governing equal employment opportunity and nondiscrimination in the workplace. Must have a valid driver license and be willing to travel regionally. Education and/or Experience Bachelor\'s degree in vocational rehabilitation or closely related field or high school diploma combined with customer service experience and/or business experience. Experience in working with individuals with diverse abilities.
