The UNITED WE CAN/UNIDOS SE PUEDE program is currently seeking a
full-time employee to fill a success coach position. Those interested in
applying to be a success coach must have experience working with diverse
communities and enjoy working with middle school students. This position
requires a flexible work schedule throughout the week for morning,
afternoon, and sometimes evening and weekend events. Prospects should
have experience working with students (e.g., camp counselor, mentor or
tutor, youth minister).
Responsibilities include, recruit students into the program, lead group
workshops with parents and youth, meet with students weekly to
bi-weekly, monitor and motivate student progress using data from school,
keep detailed records of student progress, generate reports, assist with
data collection, engage with parents and community partners, and work
closely with the Program Coordinator and other success coaches to
organize and attend monthly and sometimes weekly events and meetings to
ensure the success of the program.
