Job Opening: Coordinator, Senior, Environmental Justice Programs

We are looking for a dynamic senior coordinator to help support our Environmental Justice efforts, outreach, and programs! The Senior Coordinator for Environmental Justice will work to support internal projects and efforts related to Climate Action Plan, internal committees, regional conversations and convening, and other related partnerships or initiatives to help move the work forward. This position will be located in the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Division, and will work across other Divisions depending on the projects, opportunities and areas in need of support. Requirements: Bachelors at least 4 years of business experience Job Duties: The Senior Coordinator works closely with interdepartmental staff to coordinate and support Advisory Committees. This includes working on developing and supporting capacity, as well as leading the recruitment and onboarding of new members. The Senior Coordinator for Environmental Justice works to enhance community engagement efforts with underrepresented communities on a wide-range of projects, and initiatives, as well as general system and services. They work across agency divisions to leverage capacity and opportunities, in support of community engagement strategy, to ensure agency efforts are effective, authentic, and meaningful. This position will support ongoing program development, coordinate community and stakeholder engagement, and improve agency efforts to strengthen and expand relationships with key community stakeholders, with a focus on transit dependent populations. This position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in-person. Serve as a good steward by regularly utilizing our transit system to maintain a strong and current understanding of customers\' experiences and product and service offerings.
