DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Parks, Recreation, and
Library Director, and\
supportive supervision of the Recreation Center Manager, plays a pivotal
role in delivering exceptional\
guest services and coordinating administrative functions within the REC
and Parks and Recreation\
Department. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong
organizational, financial,\
communication, and customer service skills to effectively and
efficiently support the department. The\
individual in this role is expected to embody the departmental motto of
doing \"whatever it takes\" for the\
success of the team and department. This includes being committed to
providing exceptional service and\
performing any other related duties as assigned.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the department, including greeting
visitors, answering phones,\
providing information, and handling inquiries from the general public.
Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly financial reconciliations,
receipts, and bookkeeping tasks\
using City accounting software.
Bi-weekly timesheet submittal and employee time tracking.
Maintain fiscal/budgetary files, and execute general office duties as
required.
Assist in developing and delivering the departments monthly report.
Billing for monthly membership usage.\
Customer Service and Guest Relations:
Ensure exceptional customer service is provided both internally and
externally, embodying the\
department\'s mission and vision.
Act as a primary point of contact for patrons, responding to inquiries,
resolving complaints, and\
providing information about departmental programs and services.
Responsible as the primary contact for membership sign ups and renewals.
Develop and maintain effective interpersonal relations with colleagues,
volunteers, agencies, and\
the general public.
Collaborate with the Recreation Center Manager and other team members to
support\
departmental goals and initiatives.
Functions as the first backup to the Guest Services desk.
Responsible for reconciling insurance memberships at the REC.
