[JOB SUMMARY

[[This position has responsibility for planning/scheduling all day-to-day manufacturing operations. Plans and establishes production schedules. Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules. The position contributes to achieving the plant's sales objectives through coordination of workflow and product quality.

  • Strong planning and scheduling production mix: Labor needs/cost, machine capabilities, material availability to meet customer requirements and satisfy the current planned level of sales or forecasts
  • Coordinating production workflow for multiple products over multiple lines of production
  • Decisive making skills around recommendations that have a substantial daily impact on operations and performance
  • Excellent follow-up ability in assuring maximum schedule performance
  • Assist with monitoring of materials inventory to effectively determine production schedules
  • Maintain a master production schedule, and material resource planning systems
  • Highly skilled at making last minute changes and motivated to keep all production departments/employees and customers looped in
  • Continuous improvement background for production scheduling processes and information flow
  • All other duties as assigned
