job details
We are seeking an accounts receivable specialist skilled in cash applications systems. This is an entry level position that is strickly for cash applications operations only. Must have a minimum 2 years experience in accounting, cash applications, and high volume invoice management. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity.
salary: $17 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5:30 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Posts lockbox and direct payments to customer accounts according to procedure
Processes recurring credit card payments according to procedure
Identifies short pays and overpays and works with Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Process all approved credit memos
Responds to client inquiries regarding open invoices and payments
Maintains payment files (filing check copies and posting report)
Performs post-billing detail quality control on invoices and statements prior to mail-out
Other duties as assigned
