9th Way Insignia is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our
team.
The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the Human Resources Manager and
will assist with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department
including hiring and onboarding staff, administering, benefits, and
leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the organization's HRIS applications and modules.
works with PM's to ensure efficient, accurate, and prompt completion of
government onboarding by all contractors/employees.
Supervises junior human resources personnel.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and
questions.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and
non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This
may include safety training, anti-harassment training, ethics training,
professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Assists in preparation of annual compliance reports.
Leads 9th Way Insignia's wellness team and wellness efforts.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource
programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave;
disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent
management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health
and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and
supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate
staf
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and
regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and
practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and
new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or
equivalent related field experience in lieu of degree.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and
talent management systems.
Ability to operate independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Focus on timeliness.
Ability to modulate different approaches to work with technical resources and
obtain their input in a timely fashion.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in various stages simultaneously.
Preferred/Desired:
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $66,000 per year
