Livingston Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Farrowing Training and Development Specialist for its Washington Co., KS, Jefferson Co., NE, and Gage Co., NE locations. Will be responsible for designing and coordinating training programs to maintain and improve job skills related to the farrowing of sows, weaning of pigs, pig working procedures, managing production records, vaccination schedules, barn cleanliness, ventilation adjustments, and feed management; evaluate training methods, report improvements, and regularly communicate with the Site Manager, Breeding Manager, Production Managers, and all levels of Management; and stay abreast of developments in swine production and animal welfare to ensure the day-to-day care of all animals in the department. Must have a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science or other related field. Applicants must have 2 years of experience in the following areas: modern, intensive pork production, training and coaching staff in farm practices, swine production methods, leadership techniques, and resource administration or allocation. Pre-employment drug screen and background checks required. Approximately 50% travel required between multiple employer worksites.
