Job Title: * Staff Clinician and Multicultural Specialist Assess the mental health of Tufts University (Tufts) students. Provide individual and group and occasionally couples psychotherapy to Tufts students. Consult with Tufts students, administrators, faculty and staff about mental health issues. Provide general outreach to the Tufts community. Provide focused outreach to AAPI, BIPOC, and international students at Tufts. Serve as liaison to the Tufts International Center and to Tufts Global Education. Refer Tufts students to appropriate mental health resources and practitioners. Maintain timely clinical documentation in electronic medical record system. Participate in 24-hour emergency on-call rotations. Requirements: Ph.D. in Psychology or Masters Degree in Social Work; prior experience working with diverse student populations including AAPI, international, LGBTQ+, as well as students of different ethnicities and immigration histories. Must possess prior clinical experience involving brief therapy and crisis intervention with college student/young adult populations, and with BIPOC clients in particular. Must have strong generalist experience working with a variety of issues common in college populations including stress and anxiety management, eating and body image issues, sexual and other forms of trauma, substance abuse, non-suicidal self-injury, depression and mood disorders, ADHD, and ASD. Must be eligible for Massachusetts Psychologist Provider License and eligible for Massachusetts Clinical Social Worker License.
