just for you! The Marion County Health and Human Services Psychiatric
Crisis Center is in search of a motivated Mental Health Associate to
join our growing team. The individual for this position will be
primarily based in the Salem location, providing back up coverage when
needed. As opportunities and agency needs arise, they will be requested
to work at the Psychiatric Crisis Center in Woodburn. The individual
would work with a team of Mental Health Professionals to fulfil the
goals that have been identified for individuals experiencing a mental
health crisis. This individual will work closely with individuals to
provide skills training, accessing services within the community, and
activity therapies that have been identified by a Qualified Mental
Health Professional to assist in reducing mental health symptoms.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Provides individual and group recreational,
social and skills training services under a professionally developed
service plan; keeps records of persons served status; performs service
plan directed case management functions under close supervision;
performs related duties as required. Primary responsibility of this
class is to assist and support other mental health professionals,
without primary responsibility for a caseload. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
REQUIREMENTS 1. Three years relevant work experience in a behavioral
health services field; OR 2. Bachelor\'s degree in a behavioral science
field; OR 3. Any satisfactory combination of work, education, training
or experience relevant to the position, as determined by Marion County.
