Position Overview OMG currently operates in two Divisions: OMG Roofing Products and FastenMaster?. OMG Roofing Products is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of value-added components for the commercial roofing industry. The FastenMaster Division manufactures and markets innovative, premium quality wood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier. The Operations Clerk supports the production team by performing administrative tasks related to production, distribution, or supply. This key position requires precision, focus, the ability to work as part of a team, and, most importantly, a strong commitment to safety. The Operations Clerk must be a team player and committed to delivering only the best quality to our customers. Position Responsibilities Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees. Set up production jobs and supply the necessary material to complete each job. Ensure jobs are properly processed in QAD, our enterprise resource planning system. Perform daily cycle counts on assigned inventory. Assist production team as needed to ensure order and delivery of packing supplies. Support continuous improvement efforts, including Kanban, performance tracking, and Kaizen activity. Maintain a neat and well-organized work area. Perform other tasks as assigned. Requirements Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders. Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with inventory control preferred. Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems experience. Ability to contribute as part of a team. Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills. Positive can-do attitude. Physical Requirements Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices. Ability to mount/dismount forklift utilizing three points of contact (two hands and one foot). Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch. Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and occasionally lift/push/pull/carry up to 25 Must be able to complete all essential job functions listed in the position responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
