Steady shift schedules:

Afternoon shift 3:00pm-11:30pm

Midnight shift 11:00pm-7:30am

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor bagging equipment

  • Notify lead person of any irregularities in equipment or product

  • Perform quality control checks as required

  • Complete scanning to the inventory management system

  • Assist co-worker to maintain a smooth flow of packaged product

  • Check for accurate product coding and labeling

  • Maintain accurate and orderly production logs

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

  • Assist in other production areas as required

  • Palletize (stack) finished whey products as per procedures

  • Perform forklift safety check before operating forklift and inform supervisor of machine defects

  • Operate forklift in a safe manner

  • Enter production data into SAP inventory system

  • Assist in training of new personnel

  • Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position

  • Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements

  • Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Certified in Forklift Operation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to use commercial English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions

  • Previous forklift experience preferred

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
