Inventory Coordinator - 1st Shift #OMG-933 Job Description OMG Inc. is a

Position Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Inventory Clerk
conducts physical counts, adjusts our Enterprise Resource Planning
database as necessary, and orders certain raw materials. This key
positions researches and communicates discrepancies to our Value Stream
Managers in an effort to address Fill Rate issues proactively. Success
in the position will be driven by strong attention to detail and
organization, and effective communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG
employees. Conduct and accurately record work in progress (WIP), raw
material and supply inventories. Report material shortages and damaged
materials, working to resolve discrepancies when possible. Ensure
adequate raw material supply including cardboard, buckets, lids,
pallets, labels and packing instructions. Research discrepancies and
errors in our ERP system to find root cause, communicate discrepancies
internally and resolve when possible. Maintain accuracy of kanban
boards. Update Value Stream Managers with any issues impacting Fill
Rate. Assist with metric and posting on GEMBA boards. Serve as back up
with material movement in Packing. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years\' experience in
Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing or Logistics. Ability to interpret job
orders, packaging and quality specifications, and other related
documents. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as weight and
volume. Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, and
attention to detail. Strong PC skills including experience with MS
Office Suite and ERP software (QAD preferred). Demonstrated record of
compliance with company policy, including time & attendance. Good
written and verbal communication, and basic math, skills. Ability to
solve practical problems and prioritize workloads. Experience with
material movement equipment preferred (sit down forklifts, ride on
pallet jacks). Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use
hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with
hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to
50 pounds. Good close vision and depth perception skills. Positive
attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills. Strong
