[The City of Fresno, Utilities Billing and Collections section collects utilities payments for City provided utilities services, such as Water, Sewer, Sanitation and Residential Solid Waste. The section is also responsible for the meter reading and collection of data required to produce accurate volumetric billings for customer water consumption. The work group also manages a series of work tasks related to collection processing and recording of all current and delinquent monies due for these City provided services.

[The City of Fresno is seeking a Revenue Supervisor to oversee the work of staff responsible for billing, collections, and customer service for utility services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising personnel who perform various tasks related to utility services, including billing, collections, and customer service; troubleshooting service orders, printing, and sorting service orders, and closing service orders; dispatching water turn-on/off services; posting and transferring cash; managing vehicle maintenance and collaborating with a collections vendor to resolve disputes and prevent fraud. [[One vacancy currently exists in the Department of Finance. [Immediate and future vacancies will be filled from this eligible list for a period of three (3) months from the date the eligible list is created, with the option of extending that period for up to a maximum of two (2) years at the Citys discretion. Should the competitive process be suspended for this recruitment, the eligibility list may be limited to three (3) months.
