Job Opening: Water and Resoutce Manager

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Agriculture;Two (2) years minimum experience in Agricultural management of natural resources and working with irrigation systemsDescription of the job:Perform field trials in over one hundred (100) locations of our client-owned sites;Report to Site Managers regarding findings at client-owned sites;Apply ability to work with weather tables incorporating degree days and precipitation into the water analysis;Attempt to reduce amount of water required to maintain commercial property by restructuring soils, changing turf varieties, adjusting and replacing hardware to more closely match precipitation rates;Modernize irrigation systems through soil monitoring and computerization;Monitor and check rates of precipitation in various locations throughout the properties of client-owned sites;Adjust water systems to properly match irrigation to conditions of each location;Prepare reports recommending ways to upgrade environment and irrigation system to reduce water requirements;Re-evaluate on a consistent basis to show reduction of water required;Evaluate amount of organic waste generated by our services;Propose ways to reduce amount of organic waste through utilization of equipment technology, chemical growth regulators, or other means necessary;Present proposals in clear and reasoned way to Site Managers to be implemented as they see fit.Service areas include Morris, Essex and Somerset Counties.
