Recovery Coach Program Coordinator – Full Time

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Working days are Monday - Friday.

The primary responsibility of the Recovery Coach Program Coordinator is to oversee, develop, and expand the Recovery Coach program at Arbour Hospital. The coordinator will provide individual and group supervision to the Recovery Coaches, assign cases based on a client’s unique needs, and ensure that all aspects of services provided are documented appropriately. The Recovery Coach Coordinator will play a key role in networking with various entities in the community with the goal of expanding programming and gathering additional resources for both coaches and coaches. This individual will be supervised by and work closely with the clinic director and the director of outpatient substance abuse services to ensure that clients both within and outside of the Arbour system have access to services provided.

    Responsibilities

  • Review incoming referrals for Recovery Coach services from internal and external referral sites, assess the unique needs of each client, and assign to a Recovery Coach as appropriate

  • Conduct regularly scheduled group and individual supervision to Recovery Coaches

  • Review client records to ensure services received are appropriately documented

  • Ability to maintain a small caseload of clients in need of coaching services

  • Coordinate and collaborate with director of substance abuse services, clinic manager, and step-down navigator.

  • Knowledge of Arbour services as well as other services and resources within the community

  • Complete necessary administrative duties in timely manner, including clinical documentation, data collection and reporting

    Qualifications

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • CADC, LADC, Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC), or related degree preferred

  • Willingness to complete Recovery Coach Supervisor Training within 6 months of hire

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work well independently and within a team setting

  • Experience in previous leadership roles with demonstrated ability to manage and supervise staff, provide constructive feedback and support, and to maintain a positive work environment
