Employer Information: BSCS Associates LLC d/b/a Dogtooth Bar & Grill, 100 East Taylor Avenue, Wildwood, Cape May County, NJ 08260 (609) 522-8383 Worksite: 100 East Taylor Avenue, Wildwood (Cape May County), NJ 11 Short Order Cooks positions available. Temporary, full-time position from 04/01/2024 to 11/01/2024. Work shifts are Sunday through Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm OR 4:00 pm to 1:00 am. Minimum 40 hrs/wk with overtime available. Workers will be paid bi-weekly based on a single work week at $16.97/hr and $25.46/hr OT. Meals are provided during working shifts. No other benefits. No minimum education or experience requirement. Duties include preparation and cooking to order of a variety of menu items that requires short prep time such as sandwiches, French-fries, lunch foods, salads etc. They will assist kitchen chefs with limited food prep duties throughout their shift. At times they may service patrons at counters or tables as needed. Worker will work under the supervision of owner or restaurant manager. No minimum education or experience requirement and will train as needed. Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Limited housing is available at workers' cost. Worker is responsible for housing cost of $250.00 per month which includes lodging with kitchenette, utilities (electric & gas), and bedding, due on the 1st of each month. This will not be deducted for worker's payroll but will be paid directly to employer by worker. All applicable required tax deductions will be made from payroll as required. A single workweek will be used to compute wage due. Employer will provide all tools & equipment to perform the job duties at no cost to worker. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly and /or reimburse the worker for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day. If worker completes entire work period or employer dismisses prior to end of work period, employer will pay for worker's return costs from where they departed. If worker transfers employers or abandons employment, employer will not be responsible for return costs. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence reimbursement will be at a min rate of $15.88/day or max $59/day with receipts required. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees as mandated by the government (excludes passport fees).
