The Stock Clerk operates hand and power-driven equipment in picking up and conveying materials to storage or to platforms for storage and/or delivery. They will operate automotive equipment and make deliveries of forms, supplies, and equipment. The Stock Clerk also performs maintenance-related duties and moves stored items, including rotating items and ensuring the appropriate shelf life of items; breaks down bulk items into appropriate sizes for distribution; and uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, email and database software in performing work assignments. They may perform other incidental tasks, as needed.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: This is a Civil Service position. The final candidate will be required to take and pass the Civil Service Exam when offered. A high school or equivalency diploma or trade school course and six months experience in handling supplies on a large scale, or in purchasing, ordering, receiving, storing or issuing equipment, materials or supplies is required. All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and evidence of equity-minded practice in all college policies, practices, and personnel.

Additional Information:

SALARY & BENEFITS: The starting salary is $41,565. Additional compensation with seniority steps maximize at a salary of $49,398.
