Under the direction of the Supervisor, Food Production, remains responsible for simple-step food preparation, tray line setup, and serving as well as short order cooking of foods for patients, catering or retail food service customers, acts in a manner that supports patient food safety, customer satisfaction, and departmental goals, and performs other duties as assigned. Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Food Production, remains responsible for the preparation of all foods for patients, retail spaces run by Kadlec, and others as directed following standard practices and procedures; and plays a key role in ensuring patient food safety, customer satisfaction and achievement of departmental goals. Associate Cook Salary Range: $15.74 - $22.57 Required Qualifications: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority Preferred Qualifications: Six (6) months of cooking work experience Hospital or nursing home cooking work experience Cook Salary Range: $16.26 - $23.94 Required Qualifications: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire. 2 years restaurant or institutional cooking experience. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Additional food preparation coursework. Coursework/Training: Institutional food preparation training. Healthcare cooking experience.
