    Position Summary:

    To maintain all flooring surfaces (Carpeted, vinyl, rubber, or ceramic) in accordance with the standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS None Specified CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None Specified EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Operations - Facilities Maintenance Manager. Must have been employed by Carle as a floor care tech for at three (3) months and attend 2 - 90 minute classes and past the appropriate tests. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Good communication and organizational skills preferred.

    Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrates ability to remove and apply floor finishes, sealers, and ceramic coating according to set standards of quality and appearance.

  • Monitors floor maintenance staff on quality, performance standards, compliance, training, and instruction.

  • Observes and complies with all departmental and Hospital policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for floor care programs.
