Position Summary

**The Field Operations Program Manager will plan and oversee the operations of assigned behavioral health responder teams, directly managing and coordinating multiple behavioral health responder supervisors and support staff in conjunction with other management staff. In addition, formulate policies and procedures in accordance with Federal and/or State regulations; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments, outside agencies, and the general public. Provide highly responsible and complex support to higher level Community Safety Department management staff.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.**

This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements

Education directly related to the minimum requirements below may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Masters degree from an accredited university or college;and

Six (6) years experience in social services criminal justice, emergency management or health related field;and

To includefour (4) years of supervisory experience in one or more elements of a comprehensive social service or health related field preferred.

Possession of any of the following licenses or certifications preferred:Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays and on-call shifts as required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire. Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire. Successful completion of the ACS Academy and all initial requirements therein within six (6) months from date of hire or transfer into position. Successful completion of a security background check conducted by the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI)
