Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing data solutions in Azure to meet our clients' needs. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, architect data pipelines, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data solutions in Azure to meet clients' requirements.

  • Build and maintain data pipelines for processing data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and support database needs.

  • Optimize ETL processes to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Cleanse, transform, and merge data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.

  • Write and maintain T-SQL scripts for data manipulation and querying.

  • Utilize Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and other Azure services to build robust data solutions.

  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to ensure that data is written into the production environment in a format that can be easily utilized for analysis.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, pipelines, and systems.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure data solutions.

  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL for data manipulation and querying.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.

  • Experience with Notebooks (PySpark & Spark SQL) for data processing and analysis.

  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
