Clifford Farmers' Elevator has an opportunity for you. We are looking for a Propane Delivery Driver. This is a full-time position with benefits. You will assist with a variety of tasks in a professional manner and promote a positive image of yourself and the co-op. You must have a pleasant attitude, be helpful, and be willing to work the hours required by the seasonal nature of our business. We are willing to train anyone willing to learn.

**Location: Hunter, ND

**Purpose of this Position: This position completes a variety of tasks related to operating a full-service cooperative as assigned by your supervisor. Depending on the time of year and the needs of each department, you will move between our grain, agronomy, and propane departments.

Responsibilities: **

  • Treat patrons in a courteous and professional matter.
  • Deliver propane to customers propane tanks in surrounding area.
  • Install and service customers propane tanks according to applicable rules and codes.
  • Complete safety reports and record keeping as assigned.
  • Availability to be on call for afterhours/weekend deliveries and service.
  • Verify that equipment and support vehicles are in good working order.
  • Perform warehouse work to include: driving loader, operating forklift, and loading products.
  • Perform housekeeping inside and outside all facilities.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures and attend safety training as required.
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek guidance to correct unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work extended hours as needed to meet seasonal needs.

*Basic Qualifications: (required) *

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and complete other physically strenuous activities.
  • Ability to learn to operate loaders, forklifts, and tractors.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and temperatures with the proper protective equipment.
  • Ability to work long hours to meet business demands.
  • Validdrivers license, ability to obtain a Class A CDL, and must pass random drug screens.
  • Ability to work off location without direct supervision.
