Job Overview: Under general direction from the Training Director
and/or Supervisor, identifies, schedules, and coordinates brand-training
programs. Facilitates New Hire Orientation bi-weekly or as needed.
Facilitates brand training programs that drive brand strategy and
recognition for the business. Develop new curriculum and edits existing
brand training programs such as training workbooks, demonstration
models, multimedia visual aids, refresher training, etc. Meets with
department managers and staff to discuss ways to create brand awareness
and promote and integrate brand customer service into the employee
culture. Works with Training Supervisor to track, measure, and monitor
the completion and effectiveness of development and training programs to
ensure alignment with business and tribal development strategies.

- Assists with the development and implementation of enterprise brand
training programs at all WCHGA locations
- Works flexible hours; evenings and week-ends as requested or
required
- Coordinates training schedule for enterprise brand training
programs. Identifies employee groups for supervisor/management
training
- Facilitates New Hire Orientation (NHO) bi-weekly or as needed. May
be requested to conduct NHO in the evenings or on week-ends for Wind
Creek Hospitality property expansions
- Cross trains other Training Specialists
- Assists Training Director with identification of organizational
issues and needs and appraises opportunities for development or
improvement utilizing training
- Evaluates and measures the effectiveness of training programs.
Ensures alignment with business strategy and objectives; make
recommendations for change
- Partners with Training Director to develop training aids such as
training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids,
computer tutorials, and scripted role- play scenarios
- Partners with Training Director to conduct training needs analysis
- Assists Training Supervisor with curriculum revisions and methods to
improve effectiveness
- Establishes training codes and maintains training history in Great
Plains for all employees
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:(please ensure you meet the listed requirements
prior to applying)
High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and
successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a
condition of continued employment
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
Bachelors Degree with two (2) years of direct classroom training
experiencerequired
- ORan Associates Degree with four (4) years of direct classroom
training experience required
Ability to work independently-required
Excellent public speaking skills-required
Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills required; an
average score of 70% or higher on the skills test-required
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously-required
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal-required
Experience with designing and implementing training programs preferred
(will be asked for work sample )
Excellent platform skills delivering classroom training such as New Hire
Orientation, On- the -Job Skills Training and Customer Service training.
(will be asked to present training module as part of interview process)
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of employees
and management
Knowledge and experience of current training and development
methodologies, including principles of adult learning, and assessment
techniques
Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and
holidays
Willing to travel and participate in training at multiple locations as
needed
Must have a valid and current State Drivers License and an insurable
driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain
a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good
standing with the Illin
