Principles of Electrical and Refrigeration Theory Certification is intended for experienced technicians, is a series of discipline-specific, closed-book, comprehensive written exams, that were specifically designed for technicians with two or more years of field experience. This exam is a prerequisite for all ESCO Group exams.

  3. The certification has a work experience requirement of more than 2 years but does not require a two-year Associates of Arts or Associates of Sciences degree.
