Applicants meet the following qualifications: Is at least 16 years old; Has successfully completed at least 10 grades in secondary school, or equivalent; Has successfully completed at least 1,000 clock hours of licensed skin care instruction/registered school of esthetics/school of cosmetology; or 2,000 hours under immediate supervision of a continuously licensed esthetician under the provisions of the board, for 5 years before applying for apprenticeship.
